Integrity and Safety that we inspire in our customers and stakeholders is the key to our success. We at Marine Bunker Surveys check all our employees through an VOG-declaration. This is an declaration the employee received from de Ministry of Security and Justice. In this declaration we can check the employment history on fraud, bribing, knowledge and handling with safety.
Also we give our employees a training program to help them to make the right decision when faced with an ethical dilemma. A report of participation is kept to ensure that all employees complete the training.
Also all our surveyors are in possession of a VCA diploma. VCA stands for safety, healthy and environment. Marine Bunker Surveys want all work to be carried out in a safer manner so that no one suffers an accident. The supervisors and managers are in possession of the VOL VCA diploma. With a VOL VCA diploma they know what requirements the supervisors/managers and the operational employees who they supervise have to comply. When employees pass the examination they will registered in the central examination register on www.vca.ssvv.nl.
The Chief Compliance Manager is responsible for conducting investigations on alleged staff misconduct.
